Gold Quartzite

Our gold quartzite range is small and warm-toned — eight slabs, led by Gold Macaubas's rich, honeyed base with fine dark veining and Bamboo Yellow's brighter, more even yellow-gold. Michelangelo and Tramonto bring a softer, more amber cast, closer to a sunset than a straight gold. It's the same reason we point customers toward this range over gold-toned marble for a worktop rather than a wall: quartzite runs around Mohs 7 against marble's 3–4, so the warm colour and pattern stay intact under daily acid contact and knife work rather than dulling and etching over a year of use. All eight come as a single polished finish rather than the leathered option some of our other quartzite colours offer — if texture matters more than colour, ask us which other colourways carry it. As with the rest of the quartzite family, we supply as slabs only, fabricated to your template, delivered across the UK. Because this is our smallest quartzite colourway, ask us to confirm current slab availability before you commit a design to one specific name.
