Green Marble

This page lists green marble in slab form where green is the base colour of the stone. At present there are three: Verde Atlantico, Verde Castama and Light Green Extra.

Green marble covers a wide range, from pale, sea-green stones to deep forest tones, and the pattern can be soft clouds or strong white veining. Light Green Extra, as its name says, sits at the paler end. Extra is a grade name used in the stone trade for a cleaner, more even slab.

Green marble is used for fireplaces, bathroom walls and vanities, bar tops and kitchen islands. Like all marble, it is softer than quartzite and reacts to acids, so it should be sealed and cleaned with a neutral cleaner.
