Purple Marble

Purple is one of the two smallest marble colourways we carry — 6 slabs, held specifically for clients after something no other colour in the range covers. Violet (SSMR) is the straightforward name for the family's clearest lilac-purple base; Ds Antik Violet runs paler and more consistent; Lilac Marble Slabs softens the tone further toward pink; and Dark Violet takes the same family into a deeper, more saturated register. The stone behaves exactly as any marble does — calcite-based, Mohs 3–4, marking and etching under unsealed acid contact, so we point purple marble toward feature walls, bathroom vanities and fireplace surrounds rather than working kitchen surfaces. Slabs only, fabricated to your template, delivered UK-wide. With only 6 slabs across the whole colourway, availability of a specific stone can change quickly — worth checking with us before you finalise a design around it.
