Gold Marble

Gold marble is a warm yellow to honey-coloured stone, used for fireplaces, bathroom walls, vanities and feature surfaces where a warm, bright colour is wanted.

This page lists two gold-toned slabs. Giallo Siena Dolomite is a yellow-toned stone. Sunset Dolomite (Breccia) is a breccia: a stone made of broken fragments of rock set in a finer background, which gives it a pattern of patches rather than lines. Both are dolomitic stones, which the stone trade sells alongside marble. They look and are worked like marble, and they are slightly harder than most marble.

Like marble, both should be sealed and cleaned with a neutral cleaner, because they react to acids.

The page is small because it only shows gold marble in slab form. Gold-toned quartzite slabs, such as Gold Macaubas, Patagonia and Michelangelo, and Mango Onyx are gathered with these two on All gold stones. Gold-toned marble tiles, such as Golden Stream and Fusion Gold, are on Large marble tiles.
