Calacatta Gold Marble Slabs
Calacatta Gold is a white marble with grey and warm, gold-toned veining. It is chosen for kitchen islands, worktops, bathroom vanities and feature walls, where a bright surface with a clear, warm vein is wanted.
This page lists three slabs. Calacatta Gold has the classic look: a white ground with grey veins and gold tones. Calacatta Venato Gold is a second stone of the same family. Calacatta Viola Gold, as its name says, brings together gold-toned veins and the purple veining of Calacatta Viola.
Calacatta marble varies a great deal from one block to the next, so the name tells you the family and the slab tells you the rest. Each slab has its own page with photographs. Like all marble, Calacatta is softer than quartzite and reacts to acids such as lemon juice, so a kitchen worktop in Calacatta Gold should be sealed and wiped promptly.
Use the enquiry button on any slab page and tell us where the stone will go.
